Hey you Retroooooo lovers
It has just hit me now that I am having my last birthday celebration at Trees this Saturday.
Over the last ten years I have always focused my main party event around the Tall Trees date we have had some amazing parties. Last year was special, and now that we know the club is DEFINITELY closing for good on a New Years Eve and I am starting to feel a tad emotional about it.
I’ve spoken to hundreds of you recently who are looking forward to Saturday and I feel that we should pull out all stops for this- Let’s party like it’s 1999.I’m taking a lot of pleasure in digging deep into my massive chest of tunes for this, concentrating on those tunes that have had a major impact in that club so expect the biggest and best tunes from the history of all the greatest nights we have experienced in that club during of our lives.
Expect some amazing visual effects. We have the massive Nitro Cannon back and I’m told we have some extra special Pyrotechnics, better than the re-launch with a few birthday surprises .You will see a very emotional Paul Taylor knowing that we are counting down the days to our grand finale on the 31st December 2008, that gives us six Retro’s left so we must give this amazing venue the night it deserves by embracing the vibe on all the events until it’s closure.
