Cheers Paul! Not bad for a 19 year old! haha .. Paul may retire in years to come, but i reckon he will still work behind the scenes at Retro helping the more than capable DJs such as Ben, Jane etc to keep taking Retro onwards. There a team mate, as good as Paul is and yes the success of Retro is mainly down to him and his top class graft over the years, But Ben, Jane etc all fit in that too.

Hey Jimbob, I will retire and do one one day but I have sailed through this summer no probs mate - Ive got a few years in me yet. What I will do is cut my gigs down over the next few years but we have areal strong team of jocks who can play as well as me and they do other gigs like Halifax, Wakefield, Leeds and others without me and they are successful so my belief is the brand, OUR own sound will continue for long time. At the moment, I feel fit and my passion for my work will never wain. Just because Trees has been dumped it doesn't mean Retro will decline, I believe that once great building was doing more harm than good. At the moment there are 7 clubs that we are thinking about playing that are new to us and some of the venues are amazing. Thanks for your shout though.

nathan you say the the future is bright but paul taylor will retire within the next couple of years i think. the man is 54 next year and to go out every weekend and during the summer doing even more nights a week till daft o-clock in the morning im very surprised he is still doin it, what im trying to say is without paul taylor headlining a retro event then i bet u it fades away, who is gonna headline it tony walker no he does alot of other nights for different ppl, ben? i dont think so or jane angel as soon as paul taylor packs it in it will be finished.

Paul, if you created such magical nights and memories there simply with your love for house music then the future is deffinately bright! All those positives can only be built on and used for the future. RETRO and yourself will continue to smash it well into the future! I look forward to remaining a part of this.
